Welcome to Xtech Red. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our web hosting, email services, domain registration, and website maintenance. By activating an account with us, you agree to the following:
To ensure the security and reputation of our servers, the following rules are strictly enforced:
Prohibited Content: The hosting of any pornographic or adult-related material is strictly prohibited.
Anti-Spam Policy: Unsolicited email (SPAM) is strictly prohibited. If SPAM activity is detected originating from your account, the account will be disabled indefinitely without question or prior notice.
Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to disable any website or email services that do not comply with our AUP or that threaten the stability of our infrastructure.
Your monthly hosting fee covers Server-Side Support only. This includes:
Mailbox Management: Creating new email boxes and resetting passwords.
Website Foundation: Initial installations of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
General Maintenance: Server-side security patches and routine maintenance.
DNS & Transfers: Managing DNS changes and assisting with the transfer of domains and websites to our servers.
Server Issues: Investigating and resolving any server-related email or website downtime.
Anything falling outside the scope of “Standard Support” is billable as Premium Support. This is charged at a rate of R280 per hour for both onsite and remote assistance.
Premium Support specifically includes (but is not limited to):
Client-Side Email Issues: Troubleshooting email client bugs (Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.) or performing fixes directly on the client’s computer.
Configuration Errors: Resolving misconfigurations of email accounts if the setup was attempted by the client or a third party.
Local Environment Issues: Fixing issues caused by the client’s local internet connection, firewall, or antivirus software.
Design & Development: Website design updates, custom coding, or maintenance tasks not covered by a specific maintenance agreement.
Technical Boundary: If the service (Email/Website) is confirmed to be functioning correctly on the server (e.g., accessible via Webmail), any further assistance required to make the service work on the client’s specific device is considered Premium Support.
Domain registrations are subject to annual renewal fees.
Xtech Red is not responsible for the loss of a domain name due to non-payment or expired contact details provided by the client.
All hosting fees are payable in advance.
Failure to settle invoices by the due date may lead to automated service suspension.
A reconnection fee may apply to restored services.
While Xtech Red maintains high standards of service and uptime, we shall not be held liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption resulting from:
Service downtime or maintenance.
Account suspension due to AUP violations (Spam/Prohibited Content).
Data loss where the client has failed to maintain independent backups.
